From the Studio – Lavender is almost finished
Sometimes the most beautiful stage of a drawing is the moment when everything slowly starts to come together. That’s exactly how it felt tonight.
Another little update from the studio! As you can see, the lavender is almost finished. The different shades of purple, the soft transitions and the delicate details are finally coming together as one.
Tomorrow evening I’ll finish the last blossoms and fine details. After that, I’ll take one final look at the background, because those last subtle adjustments often make all the difference. Finally, the drawing will receive its title: Lavender – Serenity.
And then… it will be time to let it go.
This small pastel drawing will be framed and ready to find its new home. That may be one of my favourite parts of Art Wishes—you never know where a piece will eventually end up. Perhaps it will brighten someone’s living room, bedroom or office. Perhaps it will become a meaningful gift for someone who could use a little more peace in their life.
Or… perhaps it will find its way to you.
Thank you for following along on this creative journey. It truly means more to me than you know.
With love,
