New in the collection: Four-Leaf Clover β Luck π
Sometimes, we could all use a little extra luck.
After creating several drawings centred around themes such as comfort, remembrance and strength, I wanted to create something with a slightly lighter meaning this time. Something positive. Something you could give to someone facing an exciting moment, taking a new step in life, or simply because you want to wish them well.
And what could symbolize that better than a four-leaf clover?
That is how my newest Art Wishes drawing came to life:
For centuries, the four-leaf clover has been a symbol of good luck. Perhaps that is because finding one among all the ordinary three-leaf clovers is such a rare occurrence. Have you ever found one? I have, and somehow it always feels like a tiny special moment β as though nature has given you a little unexpected gift.
That is the feeling I wanted to capture in this drawing.
I created the four-leaf clover entirely by hand using pastel pencils and soft pastels. For the background, I chose gentle, dreamy shades of green and blue, giving the clover a peaceful and hopeful atmosphere.
At the top of the original drawing are the words:
Klavertje vier
Geluk
which mean βFour-Leaf Clover β Luck.β
Sometimes a message does not need many words.
Perhaps you know someone who is about to take an important exam, has a job interview coming up, is starting a new job or facing an important decision. Or perhaps someone you care about is undergoing medical treatment or going through a difficult period.
At moments like these, you sometimes wish you could simply give them a little bit of luck.
That is exactly why I created this drawing.
Of course, a drawing cannot guarantee good fortune. But it can say:
Iβm thinking of you. Iβm rooting for you. And I wish you all the luck in the world. π
Please note: this particular original artwork contains the Dutch words βKlavertje vier β Geluk.β The lettering is part of the original hand-drawn artwork.
Four-Leaf Clover β Luck is now part of the Art Wishes collection.
Art with Meaning. Made with Love.
